BioNatura is a local organisation located in Bilbao, Spain. They sell a wide range of ecological and organic products. In this case, they contacted me to create different designs based on origami shapes. The funds raised with this project were used to create a recycling workshop.
This project was challenging and required lots of research behind it. I wanted to create something modern and eye catching and the origami style was perfect for this purpose. Origami is a Japanese technique that consists of folding paper for the creation of original designs. The word origami comes from two Japanese words ‘ori’ (folding) and ‘kami’ (paper). The simplicity and geometric forms that origami figures are constructed from are perfect details to create amazing logos, typefaces or illustrations.
